A Brief Explanation of "The Ashram"

As the moments of Life contain impulses which are woven into the garment of Time, which seems so fleeting, so there are Divine pulsations which sustain all worlds, whether visible or invisible. Man's attunement with these Divine pulsations here and now will, if correspondingly applied to daily living, so alter the quality of the garment he weaves in the "time span," so as to positively insure his admission through the portals of fellowship with those Immortal Masters of the Ages whose Victory over so-called circumstance and self, raised them to the blessed state of Ascended Masters in the heavenly Kingdom. Attunement today is even more effective because of their service to life, and makes possible an overcoming, outpicturing of the "pattern" eternal perfection intends for every man on earth.
Although true that in every era only the few have attained to Divine Mastery and enscribement by Angelic pen on the scroll of the immortal brotherhood, it is likewise true today that these selfsame few beings, all wise and loving, are willing to give of their own hard-won freedom, of their effective treasure of momentum and of their assistance without limit, to unawakened, unascended of mankind, who are still caught in the web of their own dense creation, but yet willing to put forth effort to be FREE!
The present cries of pain, and world distress have reached the ears of those watchers established by the Creator to silently observe the affairs of the world caught in the net of atomic matter and error-generated conflicts. In accordance with Divine Law these being see to it that the call from earth is answered God's own way. The Ashram is one of the answers to this call and carries a message and a method full of hope to brothers little and great on the earthly level. It opens a door that no man can shut for the establishing of a shining upreach beyond the seeming silent veil, in the realm of PURE LOVE where the Care of the One Father is manifest for all of his children who were created to inherit the blessings of His Kingdom. Beyond confines of race and conflict of creed, it enters into the place where the communion with Divinely ordained teachers Is possible, showing how freedom can be the lot of every man.
The Ashram is banded together for the sole purpose of uniting sincere hearts who may be separated by the effects of time, space, caste, and life's pressing activities that dampen the union of many faithful seekers. It seeks to provide no social outlet, or more opportunity for the ego to strut about and exploit its fellowmen. Its goal is real and transcendent service to the aspiring individual who is not content to sit idly watching the drift of life carry it about without anchoring and goal-fitting.
It will serve to tie together the energies of the students and chelas with The Masters of Wisdom, in order to create focal points for the purpose of transmitting the higher impulses of the Masters' blessings into the thinking and feeling world of mankind and sweet nature, thus changing the path of thorns to one of beauty.
This harmonizing activity is sponsored at inner levels by God-Free hearts who yearn to see all men live by the torch of Divine Freedom, reflecting comfort from heaven to the human level, and establishing communion with the Ascended beings, so that the wisdom communicated may assist in ultimately lifting them to the same heights of freedom and God-Victory which they enjoy.
The Ashram will endeavor to unfold gradually in the mind and heart of the student, the tested and proven methods of Meditation, the tremendous power of Invocation when correctly used, and assist in bringing to the student and the world the benefits and glory of Radiation from the gates now "ajar." Such activity will affect gently and kindly changes in our personal lives, and the lives of all men according to Divine immutable law. Our "calls" for light will not go unheeded and will enable our sweet earth to ultimately send forth the beautiful beams of pure light and love of which it is capable. It is to this opportunity that we in the Ashram call you to be a part of - the rendering of service to life in a blessed way that will LOVE FREE countless millions of our brothers and sisters treading the wheel of life endlessly, and who often "know not what they do" but, blindly live without hope as if cast in a pit of despair.
In the Ashram we work to rebuild our lives according to the pattern impulse to us directly from our Higher Self and our very own individualized God Presence, and pledge ourselves inwardly to further work for a Divine Renaissance on earth, building in hope according to the higher pattern received from the Mount of illumination! Thus it will be possible to create again a “new heaven and a new earth” - when the Masters restore their earthly Ashrams, and once again dwell therein to bless the unascended of mankind with their visible presence, it will be short work to guide all people into the beautiful life of the permanent Golden Age, come to abide forever to our blessed earth and its people, increasing for us and our posterity, to a Full Magnitude when we return home together to the Heart of the Father.
No personality at human levels is glorified in our program which only seeks to exemplify the Ascended Masters Way of Life. We ask neither fees or dues and allow you to choose in God freedom which religion or mystical path you will walk, without interference from us. Neither must you join with us in a social sense, (not that we are unsociable - just the opposite I assure you). But you must know the meaning of Trustworthiness and "To Dare, To Do, and To Be Silent". Keep the work you are doing from the profane or those who have not yet made themselves worthy by reason of interest and preparation. Let your Soul "light" from God's Presence be your guide and time bring forth its proof.
Our methods are simple, yet to a sublime purpose - expansion of your Soul light, and Service to humankind at large. The former will be accomplished by your receiving wonderful letters from the Masters of the Great White Brotherhood themselves, released in a form we call “Ashram notes…,” these you may keep and bind for reading and re-reading; as your light of understanding grows, their value to you will grow also! The latter will be done through union meditation periods when you will actually “tune in” to the great radiations of the Masters and our brothers and sisters throughout the whole earth, with singleness of purpose - the increased radiation of Good through every life to our sweet earth and even the Solar environs! Plans call for some surprises, possibly including Study folders, phonograph records of beautiful Ashram attunement rituals, pictures of the outpost and perhaps even the Masters. These may well be forthcoming.
